Brand identity design for Sri Lankan businesses
A visual identity that matches your ambition, and a system your team can actually keep consistent.
Most identity work in Sri Lanka stops at a logo. You get a file, maybe three colour variations, and then everyone is on their own. Six months later the website, the Facebook page, the invoice template and the shop signage all look like four different companies.
The logo was never the hard part. The hard part is the system underneath it: which typeface at which weight, how much space around things, which colour carries which meaning, how it behaves at 40 pixels and on a billboard.
We build the system, then document it clearly enough that whoever handles your marketing next year can apply it without calling us.
Logo and marks
Primary logo plus the variations you will genuinely use: horizontal, stacked, icon-only, single colour, small sizes.
Typography system
Chosen for how your brand reads, licensed correctly, with clear rules for when each weight and size gets used.
Colour system
A full palette with contrast checked for accessibility, so your brand colours work on screen as well as in print.
Application examples
How it looks on your website, social posts, business cards, invoices and signage. Abstract guidelines get ignored.
Brand guidelines
A practical document your team and any future designer can follow. Short enough to be read.
Every file format
Vector and raster, print and screen, organised so nobody has to ask which file to use.
This is for you if
- New businesses that want to launch looking established
- Companies whose identity no longer matches what they have become
- Businesses whose materials look inconsistent across channels
- Anyone whose logo was made in Word and it shows
Probably not, if
If you need only a logo and nothing around it, a freelancer or a design marketplace will serve you at a fraction of our cost. The system is the value here: without it, you are paying us for the cheapest part.
- 01
Position first
What you stand for, who you are for, and how you want to be perceived against the alternatives. Design decisions follow from this.
- 02
Explore directions
Two or three genuinely distinct directions, each shown applied to real things, not three variations of the same idea.
- 03
Refine the chosen route
Build out the selected direction into a complete system, tested at every size and in every context you will use it.
- 04
Document and hand over
Guidelines, files, and a walkthrough with whoever will be applying it day to day.
- Primary logo and all working variations
- Typography and colour systems, documented
- Application examples across print and digital
- Brand guidelines document
- Complete file package in every needed format

Full pricing breakdownCan you just do a logo?
We would rather not, and we will explain why on the call. A logo without a system around it tends to fall apart in application within months. If a logo is genuinely all you need, we will point you somewhere better suited.
Do I own the final identity outright?
Yes, complete ownership of the final work. Note that typefaces are licensed from their foundries, not owned: we set the licence up in your name and explain what it covers.
How long does it take?
Three to five weeks typically. The position and exploration stages take the most time, and rushing them is what produces identities that get replaced in two years.
